A day like no other,
rings out in my head
Thoughts of insecurites,
plague my inward being.
I want to crawl into myself.
Withdrawing from the cold.
Inspecting my broken soul.
Crying for a sweet release.
Reaching, I want to find answers.
Searching, for my own destined truth.
Realizing, you are the one who loves.
My Father, oh how you have loved me.
No matter how I have sinned.
I always come to that day.
When I bowed on my knees.
To worship you for eternity.
Softly you ease my fears.
With the gentle hope of compassion.
Showing me I am a made complete.
With the promise of a brand new hope.
Giving me a promise of a gift,
dealt by your masterfull hands.
You molded me into your child.
Transforming me by your love.
