Do Not be Conformed to This World
April 20, 2010 by happy707
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We are not to be conformed to this world; it is not our home. If we try and conform to this world then we will be unfit for the eternal world to come.
“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will” (Romans 12:2).
The moment we are born; the enemy of our souls who is the prince of this world continually tries to brain wash us against almighty God, The Creator of the universe. The enemy tries to manipulate, and control us, and then he can destroy the wonderful plan that God has for each and every one of us.
Do not be deceived and take the easy broad and easy road in life. It will lead you to total destruction, emptiness and defeat.
Jesus Christ is the only Way, Truth and Life, and to follow Him; you must travel a very narrow and straight road in life. His way is not easy, but it will bring you the abundant life in Him which is worth everything.
People will hate you because they hated The Lord when He walked as a man on this earth. Hatred for Christ’s sake, is a disguised compliment, and the apostles rejoiced when they were hated, persecuted and lied about, because they knew that great was their reward in heaven.
“If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you” (John 15:19).
Throughout my life; I was met with people who wanted to control me. They are now called “control freaks”, but they whitewash and camouflage their desire to control by using subtle lies, deceit and trickery.
In the University; they try and make you conform by controlling your thought patterns to fit into their own. They use the leverage of assigning your grades according to how much you agree with them.
When you go out into the work force; you also find those who selfishly try and control you through subtle punishments for not conforming to their ways.
In fact, in many cities; the control is so strong that a person of true integrity, and a strong sense of justice will never be allowed to have a position of authority. They will always be held down by those in power.
However, your true authority will come from The Lord of glory, as He alone is all-powerful, all-knowing and present everywhere and at all times. You will find that being rejected by the world will bring you into a powerful relationship with the almighty God, and then He can use you for His glorious purposes.
When you die to the world’s reward and punishment system that they have set up, and you die to your own desires and ambitions, then you are ready to be used by the Eternal God of The Universe.
“For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for My sake, the same shall save it” (Luke 9:24).
Until you realize that the world system is trying to change you into the image of itself; you will be deceived.
If it were possible, even the elect will be deceived in the last days as the lies become more prevalent and people are deceived and conform to the system.
However, if you have a tremendous love for the Truth, The Way and The Life; you will not be able to be manipulated, deceived nor will you have any desire to conform to this world and its transient ways.
Dying to yourself, the world and the ways of darkness are prerequisite to bearing fruit in the Kingdom of God.
Those that allow themselves to totally surrender to almighty God, love Him first, seek His Kingdom and His righteousness first; these believers will be able to overcome the world and everything in it to the glory of God.
“I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it
remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. .”(John 12:24).
Our lives are not our own; they were bought with a high price, which is the blood of Jesus Christ. The world will befriend you, use you, and when it is finished with you; it will destroy you not only on this side of eternity but throughout all eternity. You will be fodder for Satan’s sadistic pride and hatred.
It is in bearing fruit that we come into maturity as a Christian. A fruit tree is not a mature tree until it bears fruit.
In the parable of the various soils; only one seed that was planted out of the 4 went on to produce fruit. Many people receive the Word of God, but only a fraction continue on to bear fruit for the Kingdom of God.
“But some of the seed falls into good ground, and gives a return: it comes up
and increases, and yields thirty, sixty, or a hundred-fold.” …(Mark 4:8).
How do we bear fruit in this life which is surrounded by lies, deceit, pride, hatred, evil of every type; we must learn to abide in The Vine, Jesus Christ. We must be so close to our Lord Jesus; that nothing can separate us from His presence in our lives. We desperately need His love, wisdom, protection, and the fruit and gifts of The Holy Spirit to overcome in this life, and especially in the days to come.
“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except
it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me. …” (John 15:4).
The world is trying to tear you out of Jesus’ precious hands. Why? Because Satan comes only to kill, steal, destroy and render useless your life and the life of your loved ones and everyone that you know. He is never content to allow people to have their freedom and liberty. He wants to control, seduce, deceive and ultimately destroy for all eternity every human being and particularly people who love God and are called unto His glorious purposes.
Satan comes as an angel of light, and he comes as a person who may give him or herself a very high sounding title such as apostle, prophet, pastor, evangelist, teacher or whatever. They exalt themselves, and they pretend to worship Jesus Christ, but you will always know them by their fruit.
They are greedy, selfish, adulterous, ambitious for power, they deceive, lie, cheat, steal and lead many to destruction. They are sheep in wolves’ clothing, and they are ravening or bent on destroying as many people as they can because they are led by Satan.
Please beware, as they have infiltrated the churches throughout the world. These charlatans are in every location on earth, and God wants us to know how to deal with these reprobates. He tells us how to judge them, and how to purge the church of them in I Cor. 5 and 6.
The church is warned over and over by The Lord Jesus about the “religious leaders” who are actually filthy inside. Outside, they are extremely clean and everything looks perfectly in order, because they whitewash to trick, lie and confuse unsuspecting Christians.
However, Jesus said they will go to any length to find one person to convert to become their own follower, so they can make that person into a son of hell as they are sons of hell.
Please be warned and beware, and please pray with all of your hearts, that these wolves in sheep’s clothing will be made known to all, and that the people of God will purge their churches of these wicked people posing as Christians and leaders.
I pray that The Lord will be glorified in His church in the coming days as never before. Jesus prayed that we will be one even as He and the Father are one. This is coming, and it will be the glorious last day church.
Jesus is coming back for a pure and holy Bride. Hallelujah! We need to make ourselves ready, and we need to prepare the way for The Lord.
