A PRAYER!
My heart pants for You, I long for Your touch once again;
My soul is parched; I need the living waters over again,
Revive me and strengthen me,
Lift me up from the miry clay.
I fear their stares; I’m scared of their power; I am weak without You.
Engulf me in Your love and wipe away my worries,
My hope is in You and nothing of the world can ever bring me my joy.
You alone are my delight,
Hold me in Your arms and grip me tight,
I want to be close to You always. You are my only friend and my comrade!
I trust no one but You. I have pinned my faith on You and I know I will not be put to shame.
Hold my hands and walk with me along the way,
As I run the race of life,
Till I meet You up there on the clouds to be with You forever, my Love!
