ROSETTA
Thick strokes on canvas.
A kaleidoscope of color:
Rosetta
A pair of blue cranes,
gracefully soaring.
Blue-grey wings sharply silhouetted
agains puffy, white clouds.
Fat brown cows,
contented triangles
of heads, hips and thighs,
lying down in pastures
of succulent grass.
The reedbuck,
imperfect with one horn,
a quiet, camouflaged presence,
in the dappled shade.
The ostrich,
strutting male attitude,
with black and white plumes.
Long neck occasionaly bending,
pecking at tidbits in the grass.
The haunting cry of a fisheagle,
like a flat pebble,
jumping
from hill to hill,
to dissapear in far, distant fields.
The sound of the waterfall
imitating Your voice.
Nature
in agreement with You,
indeed God,
it is good.
