Through the Storm

Life is not about to end—it goes on forever. Acceptance of the circumstances is impossible when the circumstances are not productive. Games are not necessary.

Attitude is important. We all belong to the same humanity. The attitude of transcendence is important to create happiness and a successful outcome. Negativity is an attitude.

Without a positive influence negative thoughts will run a ship aground fast. Negativity is an under current that threatens to pull the ship into the depths of darkness and cold and must be fought at all costs. Calm the storm of negativity and the ship will reach the shore. I will not say this is not always easy. You will have to put effort and overstate the positive to eradicate the negativity that threatens to tear your fragile ship asunder. Batten down the hatches it will be a rough ride. My friend this is a storm you have ridden before and you have won in the past. Pray. Find a deep inner peace and remember that you sit on the rock solid foundation of a maker who will protect you from your transgressors. Your enemy is only a shadow.

Believe in the pilot of your heart. Listen to the voice of truth and slay the false shadow giant of negativity. You are the shepherd. You are the brave steward of the lamb.

Peace be in the heart of the one who believes in the calm waters. The storm will not last forever; you are in the vessel built to withstand the storm. Nature does not make a storm that lasts forever. Pray for the storm.

Frustration and worry only add to the strength of the storm. Do not give in, do not feed the flames. Remove the fuel and the fire will die out. Yes, it will burn hot, but from the ashes comes the phoenix, stronger than it was before. Raising above the land the bird of majesty is your beacon, flying to the lighthouse. The shoreline is clear after the storm and the bird is a guide. Could this be a phoenix or a dove? Either way she is a guide of love and spring beauty.

I have been here before. The stinging waters of the furious storm are not more than I can take. I will not fail. I am a sailor experienced in full fledged gales of negative swings. I am a fighter with patience waiting for my moment. I will strike with loving and peaceful words. I will invite my opponent to join me at the table for a bountiful feast of gracious fruit and lovely nourishment. The storm will pass.

After the storm passes it is time to reinforce the ramparts. Rebuild the defenses stronger and more hardy—ready for the coming storm. All storms repeat, sometimes stronger, sometimes weaker. But, all storms repeat. This storm is no different, today is another day, only we have learned from the past. Now we are ready.

I am the leader with a crew who believe in me. I am the captain of the vessel. Today is my day to shine. Bring the vessel back on course and learn the current of the storm. Safe passage does exist if I am patient and peaceful in my heart. Avoid letting my heart sink. Pray.

Let go of the need to be right. Become an observer of what transpires around you. Actions of negativity and the storms’ rage are not your doing. You are an unattached observer of the forces of nature. Let go of your grip and the water will flow its own way. The swirl of the whirlpool will lose steam without the twist. The tempest will lose force without resistance. Let go of the outcome.

Do not worry about the result; it will be what it is. Observe and adjust the sails—ride the wind my friend it is your ally. The wind is on your side and always goes where it goes. Ride the strength of the current, the buildup of energy can be harnessed. Use it to your advantage. Make the storm your ally. Give it something to do—give it its own idea for activity. Produce a good result from the storm. You are a storm rider—you are the champion.

Live the storm. The many that follow will be shielded by your strength. You are the storm chaser. You are the wielder of good intentions. You will prevail because love always perseveres. Be patient, Captain of the many.

No limit exists; no barrier. We have true evidence in the past; we have your heart that knows no boundaries. Dream a big dream!! You are the physical evidence of a miracle—of the impossible. You have held solid through many storms. You are still here.

Faith, hope and love are your allies in this plight. With faith we can understand that the storm will end. With hope we know that shoreline is beyond the fringes. And with love we have strength to endure the storm.

By faith we can sail the seas knowing the destination will become apparent, after many days’ sailing in similar waters—patience and perseverance are the sails we set. When the storm batters our meek vessel we will make it through. Today we will be the victor as long as we have faith as the helmsman.

Our first mate is hope, holding the map, reading the skies. The signs of the horizon are a mystery, but by hope they will be apparent, as long as we stay the course. Through faith and hope, love will find a way. Love is the crew, a precious cargo.
