Thank you, Lord, for the small parcel of 24 hours that You and I can handle. Often I've wanted to know the future but kindly you have withheld that from me. I'm grateful that with one hand You scoop up the things too difficult for me and hold onto me with Your other hand. I'm pretty dirty from stumbling along by Your side but it is a wonderful place to be. Thank You that I will always be Your little girl.

How true. We probably wouldn't want to know the heartaches that will be in our lives. We'd probably be happy to know the blessings, but surprises are great.
