In Between Place

Last night I was watching a televised Sunday service and the pastor said, “Look again, spring is not going to look like what you are expecting it to look like.” Holy Spirit then brought to my remembrance a vision He had given me earlier that day. As the vision began I was walking through a forest and my eyes were immediately drawn to the sunlight that was penetrating through the gigantic, towering, barren, and ice covered trees that stood all around me. I began to frantically look around in an attempt to locate myself physical position. My eyes were drawn downward and I was shocked to see that I was barefoot and standing on the ice carpeted ground. My only hope seemed to be me finding my way to the penetrating light that peeked through the trees. Realizing the intense labor of getting through to the light I stopped to take a breath from my daunting and exhausting task. My eyes were again drawn upward to the trees. Some of them seemed to reach the sky, and others seemed to reach even beyond to the heavens. I then made the most astounding discovery; although the barks and branches were covered in layers of ice there were pink and white blossoms bursting from the branches.

As the sun rose higher into the sky the blossoms began to open up right before my eyes; it was the most intoxicating sight. As the blossoms began to burst through I could feel the trickle of melting ice falling on my face. At the same time I began to feel my feet warming beneath me and looked down to see the ice carpet begin to be a blanketed with fallen blossoms. The blossoms were an indication of new life bursting forth and indicated that the next level of growth and transformation was on its way, but, the ice all around was evident that the last level of life had not yet ended. In other words the new season was emerging, but, the old had not yet disappeared from view. My eyes could see the transformation and the shift that was taking place. I wrestled to grasp what was taking place right before my eyes. What season was I really in? What do you call this in-between place? I continued to move forward motivated by the thought that if I could only emerge to a new place, a clearer place without all of these distracting trees and branches that I would be able to see exactly where I was. I knew I needed a new perspective, without it I was just confused and frustrated with this journey through this in-between place. With every step I took the edge of the forest seemed just beyond but, I still found myself having to wade through a continuous maze of branches that blocked my way and yet to my own surprise I kept pressing forward. I thought to myself, I suppose I will just keep going, I have no other choice right now, I must get another perspective; my vision is blocked here in this place and I must see; I must find my way out.”

The sun’s rays intensified with every step that I took. And the Spirit of the Lord said,” Just beyond the bend, freedom is just beyond the bend, keep moving forward. There is a place that I am leading you to. I am leading you out to take hold of it. Manage your expectation for you are expecting to find just an open field to gain your new perspective, but I am saying to you today look again and see beyond and gain your new position in Me. There is so much more, so reach out and reach up now. Reach out and reach up and you will find your way out. Your path has already been made and your freedom is just beyond. I have already delivered you into this new place. My ways are not your ways; they are higher than your ways. I Am preparing you in this in-between place; it is your place of transitioning and My grace will not allow you to give up now. Not only will you gain a new perspective but you will know your days and seasons and no longer will you be drawn into confusion and doubt. Your eyes have not seen what I have prepared for you.”

If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
