“I know that my Redeemer lives, and one day…though worms shall destroy my body, I shall see God with my own eyes and behold Him. How my heart yearns for that day!” (Job 19:25-26)
Christ’s atoning death paid the ransom for all sins… past, present, and future. His redemption freely gives believers a multitude of everlasting gifts. Read through Paul’s letter to the Romans. It is a glorious display of bedazzling “fireworks” for the spirit of every believer.
Justified by our faith in the resurrection of Jesus our Lord, we have:
PEACE WITH GOD,
ACCESS INTO HIS GRACE,
HOPE IN THE GLORY OF GOD,
TRIUMPH AMIDST TRIBULATIONS,
THE LOVE OF GOD,
RECONCILIATION WITH GOD,
JUSTIFICATION OF LIFE,
RIGHTEOUSNESS INTO ETERNAL LIFE,
NEWNESS OF SPIRIT,
DELIGHT IN GOD’S LAW,
FREEDOM FROM CONDEMNATION,
FREEDOM FROM THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH,
THE INDWELLING OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD,
THE QUICKENING OF OUR MORTAL BODIES,
THE SPIRIT OF ADOPTION TO BECOME CHILDREN OF GOD,
BECOME HEIRS OF GOD,
BECOME JOINT-HEIRS WITH CHRIST,
REDEMPTION OF OUR BODIES,
INTERCESSION BY THE HOLY SPIRIT,
FERVENCY IN SPIRIT, SERVING THE LORD,
STEADFASTNESS IN PRAYER,
FAITH IN GOD’S PROMISES.
What a Redeemer! Christ lives, today and forever. And so shall we. Amen!
