Little windows playing images in our minds,
forever instilled into our being.
replayed memories of heartache, pain, laughter, and love.
A child being born, a parent dying, or maybe your first kiss or the look on your child's face the first time he seen a butterfly.
Each scene, each image windows directly into our heart,
the pain, the tears, the laughter, the joy that each precious memory brings back to life.
These are our Wow moments.
But what if we ask the Father above, what are His wow moments - what would he say?
Maybe it would be the birth of His son, so tiny, so perfect, so Holy
born in a manager so long ago.
Or maybe it would be that Son willingly dying on the cross for a world so full of hate and sin and strife.
Could that be His wow moment?
I like to think in my simple mind that His wow moments happen every time one of us drop to our knees and accept that perfect gift of love.
The forgiveness He gave to us with His blood, His life.
His hand reaches down from above and connects with our heart to make an everlasting bond.
I believe that's His wow moment, when one of His children accepts his pure love.
His wow moment.
My wow moment.
