Charles walked out of the gas station, got back into the brown SUV and opened up the map to study it. After a while, he folded it back up and drove onto Highway 4 and headed north.
" Why are we heading toward these cabins we've never been to before?" Katie inquired as she stared out the passenger window at the unfamiliar surroundings.
" I called the number that was on the business card and got some information".
" You have never shown any interest in a cabin vacation before" she replied as her cell phone rang. " Hello".
" Mr Brown, please".
She handed the cell phone to Charles.
" Is this Charles Brown?".
" Yes".
" Mr Brown" asked a muffled deep voice. " Do you have my money yet?".
