Out on, the dark dreary sea
this ship does boldly sail
Praying and hoping to reach the shore
and that it's mast of faith won't fail
But, lo in the midst a spark of light
has beckoned to your call
To lead you through the troubled waters
making sure that you don't fall
O' ship you heard the Saviors voice
letting you know the vessel won't be lost
So anchor it down and ride on through
because, he has already paid the cost
You was purchased by the blood He shed
a price that was paid in full
So just sail on it's going to be all right
for your Savior has a lot of pull
Your're not alone in your travels
not abandoned in your distress
God has armed you with his promise's
that will surly bring success
So be of good cheer for your God is near
keep your eyes toward the hills
For the life-line of hope has been cast
now just say to your soul be still
O' ship don't ever doubt your faith
and try hard to not complain
About the things that your going through
but, instead look forward to gain
Don't ever cast off your armor of praise
fight to keep it night and day
For yet you have a little strength
to help you along the way
The ship of Zion will not be broken
it will sail on through each test
For we're made strong through our weakness
and on God's word we can rest
We must tackle all the force's of evil
never lose sight while on this route
and we'll see God in the midst of it all
and in his due time he'll bring us out
Sail on O' ships and be steadfast
take a hold of the line of hope
Which is, the word of God to bring you through
giving us what we need to cope
