Deuteronomy 30:19 –“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.”
God wants us to know – as He wanted Israel to know, that people have the right of FREE WILL. God gave us this gift of FREE WILL so that we could choose life in heaven with Him, or we could choose to spend our eternity in eternal death…called the “second death” in the Book of Revelation.
God gave us the choice of blessing – by following His words the He spelled out in His love letter to mankind…called the Bible…or we could choose the opposite of blessing, which is to be cursed, and cursed not only in this life…but the one to come.
Choices. It’s what everyone is clamoring for these days - “Woman’s choice” - which means that a woman has the right and the choice to kill an unwanted baby. Would a blessing come from that choice…or a curse?
Choosing homosexuality over God’s clearly spelled out Words, “Man shall not lie with man as he does with a woman” (Leviticus 18:22) is a choice that many make in the “free society” that the world lives in today. Would choosing the opposite of what God says be a blessing….or do you think that Aids, STDs and everything else, including an attempted assault on the word “marriage” is turning out to be a curse?
“Change and Hope” is what the president called for when he ran as a candidate.
Americans chose to accept the words from this man who emerged from the shadows of nowhere.
Change” may be all that we have left of our paychecks by the time the election of 2012 comes around, and we sure “hope” that we will still have a free nation by then, and not one steeped in Socialism.
Choice – When man makes choices opposite of God’s Word, it can only bring one of two results…cursing and an eternity of death in a place called hell – where there is fire and eternal torment.
Who, in their right mind, would actually choose those two things, yet it’s done every day in the United States and in the world.
