When You look at me
Do You see
Transparent, naked
Like through a magnifying glass
Every flaw?

Do You shake
Your head in despair
And frown
At the sins
Ingrained
In the fiber of
Each cell?

Or do You lift
Me up to the
Light,
Swivel me around
And look at me
With loving eyes
Through the blood
Of Your Son?
