Before I share my dose of encouragement today, I pray that our hearts will be opened to the message that God wants to impart in each of us:
“Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you maybe hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.” - Hebrews 3:13
Let’s face it! We live in a deceitful world and tough times. No one is exempted from bad happenings, whether they’re brought by man’s poor judgment, or natural disasters. We see troubles everywhere. We already know the effect of bad economy on unemployment, drop in housing market, recession news only out shined by more bad news of earthquakes and other calamities. I came to the point when I don’t want to watch the news anymore.
But we can not live in state of denial. The future is uncertain. No one is exempted from trials, valleys and storms of life. God didn’t promise a trouble-free world. Yet, He promised strength of heart if we continue in our faith.
What we need in times like these is to watch and pray. Watching means being aware what to do during times of trials and storms. The Enemy can easily threaten us during our most vulnerable moments. He knows our weak spots. Yet, he trembles when he hears us pray. Each moment, there’s a battle going on between our spirit and flesh. That’s why God commanded us to pray at all times, and pray and encourage one another daily.
I’m Praying for you
I may not feel your pain,
I may not see your tears,
I don’t know what to do
In times of your need;
I feel so helpless,
I have my trials too,
Yet one thing I can do
Is pray and encourage you.
God feel our pain,
God sees our tears,
He knows what to do
In our times of need.
God is in control
He will make a way,
He is all we need,
He’s our Refuge and Strength.
Be encouraged!

Dear Gloria... Your encouragement comes shining through and we thank you for being such a devoted and obedient Child of God! It is so easy to be discouraged and fearful in today's world - yet, we know that fear is not of GOD, in the sense that we let it rule our lives. We 'fear' Him in the sense of respectfulness, but a spirit of fear does not come from our Father. We need to stay encouraged and keep supporting one another in the WAY God wants us to live. You are always lifting us up and you 'walk the talk' - you are a tremendous role model for us all. With love, always. Peggy

Hello Gloria...Thanks for this dose of encouragement. Don't we all need it in times like these, where in parts of the world friends and family are hit with earthquakes, tsnunamies, terrible weather and other trials? But you remind us that God is the one in control. And He is the one who hold the whole world in His hands. You remind us that when we put our trust in Him, all will be well...God's blessings...Helen
