Very often our lives are like broken pieces of precious pottery –
shattered beyond repair.
Not just chipped or slightly cracked – but in ruins totally.
We may have become seriously ill or lost our life’s work suddenly.
We may have experienced the loss of a child, a parent, a spouse or a dear friend
which causes us to view our lives
from a very different perspective.
It is at times such as these that we are called to accept our brokenness - no matter how profound
offering all to God as Father -
for we are only clay.
He is the Potter.
