Who am I?
Who am I that stands before you
Dressed in a robe of righteousness?
Who am I that I should be here
Treated as your honoured guest?
Who am I that you should love me
Search for me to bring me home?
I am nothing, I am no one
Yet you’ve claimed me for your own.
Who am I that you chose me
Before the world began to turn?
Who am I that you should shower me
With blessings I could never earn?
Who am I that you stooped down to
To lift me up, to help me stand?
Who am I you hold so precious
You wrote my name upon your hand?

Who are we indeed! I really enjoyed this poem. You have the right perspective-for only when we realize what we are, can we become what Christ means us to be. Keep up the good work! Thanks also for your kind comments on Powerless Power.
