The Race of a Lifetime

There is no starting pistol�no ready, get set�go�

Just saved souls who are willing to be led where God will show.

God�s Mercy is the agent that calls us to the race.

The bumps along the course are smoothed by God�s amazing Grace.

And though sometimes we can not see the road before our eyes,

We fervently press onward toward the everlasting prize.

The prize, a higher calling, despite our fears and strife,

To find the unique purpose God intends for each one�s life,

To know that He is with us when earthly foes assail,

Against His love the very gates of Hell will not prevail.

And though sometimes we stumble and we fall into a heap,

To stay and never leave us is a promise He will keep.

We�ll soar on wings like eagles if we focus on God�s Son,

He�ll meet us at the finish line when our life�s race is done.

With arms held wide, He�ll welcome us with words we love the best,

Well done, my faithful servants, it is time to take a rest.

Yes, well done, Lisa . . . you are a faithful servant, though for you, there is no rest; not when evidently led by Christ, to continue writing, on His behest. Bryan.

Won't it be great to see the Father after our race. Yes, what a great promise that He will never leave us.
