What God believes about us
Is really all that counts,
Not what you think, not what I think,
Is really of account.
We must choose facts not feelings,
God's Word should be our base.
His Word's designed to lift us up
And never to debase.
For only His opinion counts,
He lifts us to our best,
For, after all, if He loves us
Why care about the rest?
