Our Father's paintbrush at work
Is something to behold
He gives His nature colours
Some soft and some quite bold
His tapestry how beautiful
On His canvass spread
As I behold this beauty
I marvel and shake my head
Have you ever seen such wonder
I've said so many times
My wife nods in agreement
God's work is so sublime
Clear blue skies and sunshine
Lighting, clouds, and rain
Another most important fact
No two skies the same
So when I wake each morning
And watch the rising sun
I'm thrilled with that very thought
How picturesque, this one
Isn't that the beauty of it?
