I am profoundly inspired by Sheri Hunt's ' He Healed My Son. '
This is my humble rendition, of her admission; thank you, Sheri.
I remember the day, my youngest son was born;
Cradling him along my arm, glowed my heart warm;
Whispered a sweet prayer, for his safety from harm.
Advanced by one year, not a word from him heard;
Brought my knees to the floor, facing the worst that I feared;
Pleaded the Lord, knowing guardian angels had cheered.
Some say healings, are no longer for today;
It’s for times gone by, it’s for those gone away;
But my son came to healing, and so urge all to pray.
Christ gave me child, for world and Heaven to see;
Beautifully my boy sings, showing the truth love can be;
Knowing he belongs to God, fuller than he belongs to me.
