The race was on, and I was gone;
Faster and faster, running along.
Focus soon faded, as well as the will;
With energy exhausted, cementing my skill.
Turning to prayer, fed fuel fast within;
Allowing me to see, the end I could win.
After finish arriving, people cheering, and results returning;
I won the gold, but in story I’ve told, it’s God who's deserving.
