Just Thanks

To our Heavenly FATHER high above
Thank YOU, so much for YOUR love.

YOUR patience and love, YOU give us each and every day
YOU stick with us closely, and never turn YOUR head away.

And I thank YOU again for YOUR SON
For sinners and saints HE truly did come.

HE burdened our sins on that cross
So the fires of Hell we would not be tossed

HIS lessons and love are wonderful, all will admit
So we could understand them HE left The Holy Spirit

How prefect YOU are, in The course of our lives, as we conform.
As long as YOU’RE at the helm, our ships will survive any storm.

And I love YOU so much for all YOU have done.
And look toward the day when twain will be one.
