OMNIPRESENCE

This word has been buzzing around in my thinking for several weeks and since this word was present on awakening this morning at 4:30 a.m. I took it as a 'get up and share this'...so here I am.

The dictionary states omnipresence is the fact of being present everywhere and I will add all the time.

This is what happens to us when we accept Jesus into our hearts as Lord and Saviour. He is present within each of us all the time. Some may 'feel' God has left them, forgotten them, and rejected them because they messed up. Feelings can deceive you...the Word of God is truth.

Jesus told his followers that He would send the Holy Spirit who would be our Comforter, Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, and Standby to be in close fellowship with you. When He comes he will convict and convince the world about sin because they (the world) do not believe in me. (John 16), v13: But when He, the spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving spirit) comes, He will guide you into all Truth (the whole Truth).

Lets look at each description Jesus gave of the Holy Spirit.

COMFORTER: Oh, how each of us need the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

COUNSELOR: He has all knowledge and when we fellowship with Him He will give us the information we need.

HELPER: He helps us more times than we can identify and he is always there willing and eager to help
.
ADVOCATE; Like an attorney, He will present our case to the judge. He is always for what is best for us.

INTERCESSOR: Have you ever really meditated on the enormity of this statement? The Holy Spirit, the 3rd person the trinity is interceding for each of us before the Father's throne! You have to know HE gets answers.

STRENGTHNER: Have you ever felt and said "I just can't take another step...stop the World, I want to get off"...Our human nature and our fleshly bodies go through this from time to time, but the Holy Spirit of God is right there, perhaps saying..'take a deep breath, pause for a minute, everything will work out.

STANDBY: Have you ever felt like "nobody cares"..."no one is here to help me"...I am all alone and don't know what to do"...The Holy Spirit is right there all the time waiting for you to get your thinking straight.

Dear Lord, thank you for sending your Holy Spirit to us to dwell in our spirits and to teach us and bring to our remembrance what you said. Help each of, dear Jesus, to become extremely aware of God inside us. We want to be God inside minded. AMEN

This is so, so encouraging a reminder. Connie, I love the practical way you 'teach' with your writing. It is a gift of simplicity and like having a conversation. Terrific! I'll be back! :)

Miss Connie, I have tried to respond to your message several times and for some reason, nothing I do is working. I just wanted to say thank you for your sweet comments on my article, Hold the Salt Please. I will pray that God gives you the guidance and direction that you are seeking. Warmest regards.

I enjoyed your thoughts. It is great that God sent the Holy Spirit to comfort and be with us.
