I am currently reading with my wife Love & Respect by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs.
It is an outstanding book. This book is teaching my wife and I that she desires me to love her and I desire for her to respect me. It sounds easy enough but if it were then we wouldn't need this book.
In his book Dr. Eggerichs teaches us how to break the Crazy Cycle which is when she doesn't feel loved she doesn't want to show respect. When he doesn't feel respect he doesn't want to show love.
If the Crazy Cycle never ends, the marriage soon will. This book has brought me to tears at some points of reading, especially when I know its true. As a man I need to feel respected even though I don't always deserve it.
Read this book if you want an Extraordinary Marriage. You will thank me I promise.
