I feel strongly about many things, two of which is spending our tax money in foreign countries and the second item IĎm going to expound on is BUY AMERICAN.
I donít believe we should be spending our tax dollars to fight foreign countryís battles and put our country so far in debt we wonít be out of debt in my lifetime. The politicians donít care about their future as far as money is concerned. They know, when they retire, our taxes will keep them in constant care until they die.
The people of these United States come forward in times of natural disasters with money, food, clothes and other necessities as they are needed. They do so willingly out of compassion. Did we have a say so when the politicians decided to send troops and money overseas to fight the battles which ultimately took too many lives on foreign soil?
It came to me BUY AMERICAN personally recently. I take Tylenol for Arthritis under instructions from my physician Because I take so many it costs less to buy them in quantity. Guess what Linda found out recently when she went to the drug store to buy them? She could only buy them in the small size. Why? Because they are made in China the whole product line [not just Tylenol] got recalled. I know the manufacturers get them made cheaper in foreign marketplace but their bottom line is the only thing that profits.
It costs more, perhaps, to buy MADE IN AMERICA, but perhaps if the U.S. manufacturers made their products in America where Americans buy the product with their money which they made in America everybody would benefit, not just the bottom line of their P&L statement.
