I NEVER
by Bryan Rudolph

I never knew.

I never knew, how much I needed You.

I bled from nursing doubts, as true.

I tried to recant, but failed fast anew.

I never saw.

I never saw, how much was lost, wandering afar.

I would squander long my days, in thoughts held ajar.

I entertained sad success, being my own special star.

I never will.

I never will, surpass this meaningful thrill.

I now know joy, beyond falsities in drink or pill.

I live in Christ, shelter of souls, always with room, for one more still.

Life without Christ is like wandering and is meaningless. I enjoyed your thoughts. I especially liked what you said about always room for one more still.

We all have had dreams of things we thought would make us happy in the end to have them fail us. He was there all the time with unspeakable joy !!! Keep writing, i really enjoyed this...
