In the beginning
GOD created the heaven and the earth
and GOD saw everything that He had made
and behold it was very good.
But the serpent
which was more subtle
than any beast of the field which GOD had made
beguiled Adam and Eve to disobey the Lord's commandment
and alas, they sinned.
And it came to pass that the LORD GOD saw
that the wickedness of man
was great in the earth
and that every imagination
of the thoughts of man's heart
was only evil continually.
And it repented the LORD
that He had made man on the earth
and it grieved HIM at HIS heart
hence the LORD said
I will destroy man whom I have created;
both man and beast and the creeping thing
and the fowls of the air
for it repenteth ME that I have made them...
I will destroy them with the earth.
But Noah found GRACE in the eyes of the LORD
for Noah was a just man
and perfect in his generations
and he walked with GOD
thus GOD said unto Noah
with thee will I establish MY Covenant
make thee an Ark of gopher
you will I keep alive
and they that are with you in the Ark
but every living substance that I have made
will I destroy
from off the face of the earth.
and trusting GOD always
Noah built the Ark to specification
and the LORD said unto Noah
of every clean beast and fowls of the air
thou shalt take to thee by sevens
male and female
and of unclean, by two
male and female.
Of every living thing of all flesh
two of every sort shalt thou bring
and of every creeping thing
two of every sort shall come unto thee...
and take unto thee of all food that is eaten
and it shall be for food
for thee and for them.
And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded
then he and his family, they all tucked-in
for yet seven days it began to rain without ceasing
for forty days and forty nights
then GOD caused the waters to be asswaged:
the fountains of the deep
and the windows of heaven were stopped
and the rains from heaven restrained
and after an hundred and fifty days
the waters were abated.
And GOD spake unto Noah saying
behold I establish MY covenant with you
and with your seed after you
this is the token of the covenant:
For perpetual generations
I do set my Bow in the cloud
and it shall be for a token
of a covenant between ME and the earth
that "the waters shall no more become a flood
to destroy ALL flesh and the earth".
And it shall come to pass
when I bring a cloud over the earth
that the bow shall be seen in the cloud
and I will remember the "Everlasting Covenant"
which is between Me and you
and every living creature of all flesh.
And God blessed Noah and his sons
and said unto them
be fruitful and multiply
and replenish the earth
and bring forth abundantly.
