That witless myth—I renounce its repeat.
Within my current state, I am content.
My singleness, I refuse to lament.
I recognize godliness is great gain.
I resist being consumed with things vain.
Upon the Lord’s perfect plan, I shall wait
For He will eventually present my mate.
Meanwhile, I seek to please only the Lord—
His goodness unable to be ignored.
I find true fulfillment within His love.
I am blessed and highly favored above.
My smallest concerns, the Lord consoles.
I require no other to feel whole.
With Jesus, I am fully satisfied.
In the Lord's presence, I am gratified.
