THE WORD
It is the thread of the fabric of the Universe,
It is the heartbeat of creation,
It holds the breath of the world in its grip,
It is the origin of every nation.
The life of every man is at the mercy of its clutch,
It has the strength to revive every lifeless soul,
It infuses men with the life of God,
Making them entirely whole.
It delivers people from the scourge of sickness,
Cursing its plague with the life of the Healer,
It renews the strength of the young,
Rekindles the youth of the aged, making them stronger.
Every lack is supplied by its benevolent Hands.
It offers everything we need to profit in the business of living.
When we drink from its fountain,
We are completely satisfied, with nothing missing.
It is the lamp for our feet,
The light for the path we tread.
With impeccable wisdom, it guides the wandering heart,
To the blessing of purpose and sound judgment.
The flames of its glory will never grow dim,
They will blaze brighter and brighter,
Until the Heavens and the earth bow to its reign,
And every Kingdom and counsel is consumed by its fire.
The glory of the Universe will die,
The schemes of men will fail.
But its truth will stand forever.
Its counsel will prevail.
This is the Word of God.
