Today is January 7th 2010
So far 2010 is not looking good at our house. I am trying to keep the faith and fight the good fight but to be honest, I am getting my butt kicked. God is faithful though. He has brought loving people, strong prayer warriors into my life through e-mail. Not for long though, Just got a shut off notice for that too. I am trying to figure out this current trial I find myself in. It started about five months ago at work. Some of the higher up's in the company were stealing product and wanted me to lie and say some of the lower level employees were involved but not to mention the higher level guys. I know I didn't handle that situation right. Instead of standing up for my job and the truth, I quit. It was me against them and I gave up. No one lost their job but me. Since then I have not found another job and my husband is getting maybe 20 hours a week. About a month ago our phone and satellite were shut off and I was excited because we were still receiving about 4 Christian channels which I watched all the time anyway, but on Christmas eve that got shut off too. Now we are a month and a half behind on the mortgage and only making enough to keep the electric on and buy very few grocery's. We are faithful with the tithe, and know that God is faithful. We know that our will is usually not God's will, so my prayer is that his will be done in this situation and for the peace to know that God's ways are the right ways and whatever that is it is the best for us. I am writing this because I know there are so many people in the same boat as us and I want to show what a loving Father we serve. When God delivers us out of this mess, and it's gotten to the point that only God could be the answer, there will be no denying how great he is!! I am excited to see what God has in store for us. This has been a tough battle but if Gods with us who can be against us. Today I have a roof over my head, food in my tummy and Jesus by my side, so all is well with my soul.
