During a recent conversation I asked "I wonder whatever happened to ..." a singer that was very popular back in the 70's.
I had placed the question on the shelf in my mind until I was watching a program on TBN and there was the person I had asked about...still singing....a bit heavier but still had the singing voice.
In addition there was a testimony that was given by an adult male who told of how God had healed him of a ruptured appendix when he was about 11 years old. At that time a ruptured appendix was a death sentence. Why did that bless me so?...I, too, had a ruptured appendix when I was about 9years old. Of course I did not understand what was happening at that time but I do remember being in a Catholic Hospital for about 3 wks where all they did in the natural was put an ice pack on my side, an IV in my arm and the sisters gave me warm water to drink, (I hated the warm water). There was a young man that came to the ward every day and gave each child a pint of ice cream...always vanilla. Of course, when I was discharged the first thing my Dad did was buy me an ice cream cone and he was so surprised that I just held it in my hand while it melted. I know of no one else (personally) that has had this experience. If you have, I would love to hear from you. There was a relative that has a ruptured appendix when she was 17 and she awakened and told her mother she had just been to the most beautiful place she had ever seen and was going back there and she left her body and returned to heaven. I fully expect to see her when I get there.
Why am I sharing this? Just to encourage others that even their questions are answered if they will just listen and be observant.
