With reflection of all that was revealed regarding Tiger Wood's personal life... what I find to be the most traumatic is the fact that his wife did not suffer an account in which a woman revealed that she slept with her husband one night, instead, Tiger Wood's wife found out that her husband was involved with at least 14 women throughout the course of their entire marriage.
This is horrible. And for the many of us who have been victims of adultery, many of us can't even fathom receiving the news of such a massive number of people that our spouse may have been involved with. Moreover, to his shame, this is not a private affair which would have allowed for his wife to share with a select few of her pain, instead the knowledge of his affairs is known before the whole world, so she has no choice in the matter.
My prayers go out to this young lady in all that she is facing and all that she will endure in the coming months or year. I also pray that if she doesn't know the Lord, that this will be the divine appointment that will lead to the ultimate healing, not just for her, but also for Mr. Woods himself.
My personal reflection regarding this is that any company that continues to allow Tiger Woods to be the spokesperson or model for their product should be ashamed and possibly even boycotted. The reason for this is because Tiger Woods has shown himself to be a man that was selfish, sexually immoral and a person willing to take chances that could bring great pain in to the lives of his family and loved ones.
Introspectively, there are many women each day that are waking up to the fact that their significant others have been involved in this same transgression. Speaking firsthand, it is a pain, after its revelation, that tears at the soul. For many, this needs not be the case. For many, there are enough indicators that this day will come.
