Nicholas pulled out two colorful hats from the box and they put them on.
" There is a cake in your refrigerator and candles in your drawer".
Nicholas, with a surprised look, took the small white cake out, set it on top of the counter and put one candle on it. He lit it. " What are we celebrating?".
" The most important thing about Christmas" he said with a smile as he blew the candle out. " The birth of my son".
" Jesus".
" One of my angels brought good news to the shepherds that night".
" That your son was born".
" That is why" he said as he tried a piece of the cake. " I always want Christmas to be a birthday celebration".
" I'll try to always remember that" Nicholas replied as he tried a piece of the cake. " Merry Christmas".
