MY WALK WITH GOD
I regret not the trials of life I have had to endure; they have brought me closer to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The miles I have walked have not wearied my feet; rather they have taken me to places where God wanted me to go.
By night, I rest under the heavenly skies and watch the stars dance high over my head and give thanks to God for the blessings He has bestowed upon me.
Awakening just before the break of day I watch as God paints a new painting in the eastern sky as the sun begins its journey across the sky.
Each sunrise gives me the inspiration to rise from my night's sleep and continue my journey of life.
O, how sweet it is to cleanse my body in the falling rain, rain that You send to nourish the fruit of the earth.
From my youth to my days of old I have endeavored to walk the path that You have laid out before me.
Not always have I been true to Thee, but at those times, I bend my knees before Thy throne and seek forgiveness of my trespasses.
Being the forgiving God that You are You remember them no more and encourage me to forgive those who have offended me.
When I live life my way You do not abandon me to my own devices, rather You open the doors that bring me back to Thee.
With open arms, You welcome me back to Thy fold and wash me clean as the newly fallen snow with the blood that You shed while hanging on the cross of Calvary.
I know my days here on Earth will one-day end, I fear not that day for You have promised me a new life, a life free from the sins that now entice me to stray.
What a day that will be, my soul will rejoice as it soars into the heavenly realm and I hear You say, "Welcome my child, come and receive your reward for being faithful till the end."
