Aren't you tired of eating the crumbs
from someone else's table
When you can eat, the good of the land
for you are well geared and able
Now know you won't be, well liked by all
when you decide to take that bite
To use what's put into your hands
and you will, encounter some spite
You have a right to claim your own day
and not accept what others plan for you
No don't accept their little crumbs
but have what you desire to chew
And that can be, spiritual or natural
no plate full of damaging grub
Not being stuffed, overloaded with junk
for those are things you need to snub
Say you are not a radio, or an inch-TV
and most certainly, not a trash can
And you do have a right to just say no
and to accept the good of the land
We are given power to control our lives
and set some rules for ourselves
We can have friends, but, limit the visit
so you can fill up your shelves
Don't let anyone move, in on your dreams
tell yourself that the buck stops here
Take back your space that's been long lost
and go on and be of a good cheer
