Sometimes a life is changed so dramatically
In an instant, the entire world around can see
An attitude of caring, an open heart and smiling face
This can only be achieved through God’s Amazing Grace
No other explanation can satisfy the soul
No other manifestation could attain this goal
A life is changed forever, no chance of turning back
Even though inevitably Satan will attack,
For he is discontent when his will is not empirical
As the world becomes a witness to God’s great and wondrous miracle
Thank the Giver of good gifts that He has chosen you.
Knowing God’s the Perfect Promise Keeper and His word always is true.

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:2
Some years ago I worked for a woman who was the most hateful woman I had ever encountered in my life. She spewed her anger and lack of self-regard like a sticky poison. Each day was a struggle for me to try to remain God centered in her presence. It was the hardest job I ever had not because the work was difficult but because she infected the atmosphere with her distasteful attitude and self-loathing.
One day as I was praying on the way to work, it came to me that I do not work for her anyway, my boss is a carpenter and He is a loving, kind, caring, gentle being that covers me with a peace that passes all understanding. I went to work that day renewed and changed by that revelation.
Much time passed as I continued to work for Him. One day it occurred to me that the job was not quite as bad and it was more than the change of my attitude regarding who my true boss was. It became obvious that she was changing. I began to hear co-workers comment on the softening of her disposition. So I was not imagining it, there was some improvement.
She was scheduled to go to the head office out of state, so I took the opportunity to bless her with the poem above and a book abouthow God can change one’s character. She never commented or thanked me in anyway, except that her temperament continued to change. Sadly, she never became a warm caring person, but she was much less miserable and that was a great improvement. I began to pray that God would soften her heart more and more. I even boldly laid hands upon her desk and prayed one day while she was out. God continued to work with her, however, it was three steps forward and two steps back, but still that was progress. Unfortunately, I no longer work there so I am not able to see how far God has gotten with her. I hear from friends that she backslides but that she is nowhere near as bad as she once was. She is obviously a work in progress. I pray for her when I run into someone else who is taking out his or her frustrations on the rest of the world, for I know that God can make wonderful changes in our life if only we would allow Him.
