A conspiracy of fear is one of satan's designs to distract the Lord's children. But his plan is foiled because, "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but love, power and a sound mind." So fight the good fight with strong resolve and be determined to stand against the wiles of the devil and his fear tactics.
Sure there are times that fear is legitimate. But it is not something that was meant to come and remain a part of our daily lives. When it crosses that line of comfort, be prepared to fight.
You will require the whole armour found in Ephesians 6th chapter. Then dig your heels in and stand your ground until you feel relief. Just because you are attacked by a dose of fear or anxiety, don't magnify it. Fight it with the truth in God's word until it has to flee from your presence.
Make no mistake, sometimes you have to fight. The enemy would like nothing more than to see you give in to his attacks or remain passive. So attack him back with the mighty word of God. Make him get his filthy hands off your mind, off your peace, off your joy, off your life!
You've got God Almighty backing you up. I can not begin to count the times the Lord says, "Fear not." So it is obviously not something he wants us to be tolerant of. So fight, fight, fight! The word is your weapon and believe me you can do some serious damage if you will but use it. So don't cave into fears, you have a choice. Choose peace, love and a sound mind.
"Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked when it comes. For the Lord shall be your confidence and shall keep your feet from being taken."
"...when it comes..." It will come from time to time in some form or another, but we don't have to tolerate it. Fear keeps us from focusing on what the Lord wants to say about the situation. So extinguish the fear factor and wait upon the Lord's instructions and comfort.
God bless and may you continue to to inspire us and may the message be bold in you for the glory of Jesus Christ. Amen. This is a very good piece of writing.
Good write-up. Christians should not fear but should put their faith in Christ Jesus. There is a 2012 End of the World prophecy flying around the internet. Its not time to fear. Its time to watch and pray as we await the rapture of the church
