My Last Day on Earth
There I was, standing on the steps of my home…just about ready to get into the car and drive to the supermarket for some groceries, when I heard a sort of rush of air around me.
The sky was getting very bright, and I knew that something very unusual was in the air. With feelings of fear, apprehension, coupled with a sense of delight, I looked up, and saw a bright figure in the sky above me.
What are all those images that look like wisps of clouds rising up to meet this mysterious phenomenon appearing in the clouds? Are they souls rising from their burial plots? It seems so to me, but how can this be?
After all, everything seemed like it was normal. The day started out as usual for me. I got up at 7:00 and poured out my usual cup of coffee. I made my usual two pieces of oat toast and put my fake butter on both slices, then headed off to my home office to read God’s word, and then listen to Dr. Charles Stanley...www.InTouch.org.
His message was concise…we should treat others with extreme love and respect, rather than argue or bring up issues from the past in order to hold the one who hurt us in some sort of prison within our hearts.
Now, it’s time to think about getting the groceries, but here I stand…mesmerized by all I see, and especially by what appears to be the figure of a man or angel high above me…and he seems to be beckoning me to come up there to join him.
I remember that something strange happened a short time ago in Jerusalem. That new temple that the Jews built on Mount Zion and had just finished, was desecrated by someone or some thing. This thing – a beast-like creature, so I heard, instructed his followers that were now in power, and dressed in uniforms of some sort, to construct an image of himself and people were supposed to bow down before it.
I got this quick sense of peace in my heart that I was glad to have accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior when I was just eleven years old.
Just before leaving (I don’t mean for the grocery store, I mean I felt myself being lifted up toward that figure in the sky), I caught a glimpse of a darker picture of what will happen over the next few years.
I saw people standing in long lines waiting to buy food. They couldn’t just go to the supermarket like where I was heading…they had to wait in lines.
I saw them being scanned by others dressed in those authoritative looking uniforms with arm bands demonstrating some sort of power.
These armed, uniformed people seemed to have power over the people in the lines. The uniformed figures were running scanners over the right hand or forehead of those standing in line. I heard that there were formerly very wealthy people standing in those lines, and there were others who were dirt poor. There were young children standing in lines, but I saw none that looked to be very young, and no babies at all. I saw men and women there. I saw old people and crippled people who were lined up in wheel chairs. What was happening?
I saw others that were being led by the men in those dark uniforms to what appeared to be a large guillotine.
They were being asked to take that same microchip into their hands or foreheads and to serve this new idol. They refused and said they were just told by some Jewish people about Jesus, and they decided to accept Him as their Lord, and would not bow down to the new idol.
Those uniformed men were busy at the guillotine because I saw people being beheaded…one right after another. I thought, “I am so glad I don’t have to stay on the earth to see all this unfold.”
Out of the blue, I saw what appeared to be an angel coming down from heaven with something in his hand. The sky was dark in color, ranging from purple to black. The angel seemed to be throwing something down at the people standing in lines, and lightining and thunder prevailed.
I remember reading somewhere in Revelation - I think in the sixth chapter, that something like this would happen someday, and here it is - that day was now.
I am witnessing it as I depart this earth and head toward that figure beckoning me to come.
I recall reading in Revelation, “And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; and said to the mountains and rocks, fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the this one that we rejected – this one called Jesus. For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”
The angel that I saw coming to earth – one of many to come, seemed to throw hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
Shortly after that, another angel appeared. This was going to be bad…really bad. I didn’t want to look, but I was frozen there on my front porch….staring at that second angel.
All of a sudden, what appeared to be a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; and the third part of the creatures, which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
A third angel appeared in the sky and he threw down what appeared to be a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; and the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
Oh, this was a terrible, horrific sight, but God did warn the earth for thousands of years that it would come someday…and today was that day.
I felt so badly for those people who would remain on the earth after the Holy Spirit and all whom He dwelled within would be taken up at this very moment.
All the bad things that would come would come within a three-year period, or so I was told, but it all appeared to me in this sort of dream I was having.
Oh, I wished I could have told more people about this day. I wished that I could have been much more effective for my Lord who was now coming to complete His promise to take his saints out of the earth before all hell breaks loose.
What I saw was bad enough. I feel fortunate that I did not have to witness the worse, which was yet to come.
I felt badly for those 144,000 Jews who would be left after this “rapture” that I’m a participant in. They would be the only ones left of all the Jewish nation of Israel. They were what God called a “remnant” and they were all that was left after the Arabs all surrounded Jerusalem and attacked and killed all but this remnant.
Their job, so I am told, is to be witnesses to all those who remain on the earth after this so-called rapture takes place. Then, I am told - they, too, will be beheaded.
Satan thought he was now in charge. ‘Good riddance to all of those born-again believers”, he snarled. “The inhabitants of this earth will finally do what I intended for them to do...they will be my servants. They will now worship me instead of God who I hate. Those that don’t…they will be beheaded by my demon-possessed, uniformed officers in my new army."
"I finally get to control the earth without that Holy Spirit….good riddance to Him and all the rest of the goody-two shoes “Christians” who I also hated."
And, within the twinkling of an eye, I was taken up in the air to meet this Savior of mine.
I am so glad I trusted in Him, and not in myself, or in those who tried to educate me that God was not real, and that Jesus came to the earth to save me. They tried to teach me that the world came about from a giant, cosmic accident. “How foolish of them to believe that”, I thought.
I remembered a Bible verse that told me “The knowledge of God is written on the hearts of all men.” This told me that all men on the earth had an opportunity to choose to serve God, their Creator…or they could choose to reject the truth that a one-time sacrifice would be provided to every individual and that sacrifice was in the form of a man..a man called Jesus.
These who remain are the ones who mocked God, and laughed at me because of my faith. Yet, where are they going shortly?
Those rich folks who laughed and mocked their Creator are standing in the same lines as those who were nearly destitute. Didn’t they know that God is no respecter of persons? He just wanted everyone to believe on His Son, and to ask Him to save his or her soul from a punishment of eternal torment in hell, which is far worse in comparison to what was happening in my dream just before I departed.
In a few seconds, I will be in the place that God prepared for me a long time ago - heaven, where there will be no more sadness, no sorrow, no death, no tears..no illness….no hatred.
Yes, my last day on earth was my greatest, for I will spend all of eternity in a place called heaven.
I wonder who will accept this one called Jesus as their Savior and Lord….before the events told about in the Bible happen? It’s all coming and coming SOON.
