About the life you have affected.
The life that has lost faith in all,
yet trusts you.
The life you've abused like a child that's small,
yet wants you.
The life you've caused to rely only on itself,
yet needs you.
The life that hates itself, and everyone else,
yet loves you.
The life you have affected.
The life that tried to forget and move on,
but couldn't get past the pain.
The life that doesn't understand why,
you treated it badly so explain
To the life you have affected.
Maybe then it will have faith in all,
yet won't trust you.
Maybe then it can overcome abuse large and small,
yet won't want you.
Maybe then it will rely not only on itself,
yet won't need you.
Maybe then it won't hate itself or anyone else,
but will still love you.
