I found me a mate–a good thing.
Happiness to my life, she brings.
When I wake with her at my side,
I am thankful she is my bride.
What did I do to deserve her?
Me above others, she prefers.
God graced me with her love;
I obtained favor from above.
No better choice could be my wife–
My companion she is for life.
She is such a joy to have around.
With God blessings, I now abound.
Glad I am she is on my team.
I can, with pride, rightfully beam.
With her, I am assured to win
Whatever battles the world may send.
