Recently a pastor shared with me that a Chinese woman once came to his church and she could not speak English aside from Hallelujah and Praise the Lord. And yet she came boldly to feel the presence of the Lord in His house.
This caused me to ponder on the power of His spirit and I realized that if a man were deaf, God's spirit would still reach into his heart and soul to minister to him. And surely if a man were blind the spirit of the Lord would still touch him in a way that is unique to his need.
There is no affliction, let alone language barrier, that the Lord's spirit can not penetrate. Except for maybe rebellion, refusing to seek God's mercy and guidance to resolve life's problems. This only places one in the path of God's wrath. It's a no brainer. Denying the power of the Almighty God can leave you desolate and in despair.
Did it ever occur to you that life's problems might just be the instrument God is using to get your attention? To make you acknowledge your frail state enough to seek His loving comfort, His help, His mercy and divine love.
