“…And Moses said to them, “It is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat” (Ex. 16:15) RSV.
When we get stuck on our journey in life and circumstances get difficult, stressful, boring and uneventful, God will show up. We are not the only people who have ever messed up in life. Talk of the great Apostles of the faith, they were humans as we are, made some mistakes but yet the book of Hebrews talks about them as men of faith. Just like the Israelites, When the pressure is on, we are bound to lose focus and think of the quickest escape route. We easily become confused and uncertain about the provisions of God. God would put us into a time of trial to bring out the best in us. When you complain rather than pray, the situation doesn’t get better but when you pray and keep waiting on God, He would surprise you with a blessing and like the Israelites, you’ll ask what is it? At the brink of despair, God will surely provide.
