I can’t fix the world, Lord.
I can’t mend a heart.
I can’t do one single thing,
unless You are a part.
I can’t go into work Lord,
without a prayer to You,
I am no use to anyone,
Unless of use to You.
but I can be a hand to hold,
and I can be a smile.
The one to help you sing a song,
Love on you a while.
I can help you learn to read,
and write, and laugh out loud.
and I can help you stand up strong,
where childhood is allowed.
But that’s about the size of it,
and Lord I wish I knew.
A way to fix the children,
to lead them back to You.
