I walked through the graveyard, paying respect to the people that were graved,
As I walked I wondered how many of this people were actually saved,
The life that some were given,
Was not all the way liven,
For some died before they were born,
I could feel the parents mourn,
For this was a little baby unborn,
What if it were born,
Would it be healthy,
Would it grow up to be wealthy,
I walked more, each tombstone I read carefully,
Thinking hopefully,
That these people were in a better place,
With a lifestyle that’s at a much slower pace,
Each tombstone was engraved with God something,
I thought that was something,
Many people think if you are a good person you will go to Heaven,
Heaven,
Doesn’t work that way,
There is only One Way,
That is through Jesus,
Jesus,
He is kind,
And He doesn’t mind,
To share his place,
With a new face,
As I walked on and on,
I thought of how many people’s greatest ideas were buried on,
Then I kept thinking, but I finally realized these people were dead,
And I was tired and needed to go to bed,
For I was born to late,
It was the job of the people before me, and if they didn’t it’s a great fate
For I couldn’t save the dead,
Instead,
Tomorrow I thought it would be much better to go preach and worry about the people that were alive instead of the graved,
For the people alive can still be saved.
