There is a diamond on the tree outside my window.
It is brilliant and shiny, I can only see the one.
A thousand raindrops fell a few moments ago,
Dancing in the sun.
But the tree outside my window only caught just one.
It looks like a diamond from heaven,
dangling around, unfortunately the others,
fell to the ground.
A tiny little raindrop clinging to a leaf,
dancing in the sun illuminated to me.
A reminder of how you desire us to be.
Lord we want to cling to you,
and not fall to the ground.
You have illuminated your children,
Just like that raindrop dancing around.
Just like diamonds from heaven,
we are the jewelry you have made.
You have polished and shaped us
our brilliance shall never fade
