Mom’s chain of miracles part 4
November 1, 2007 Mom went into septic shock. Her liver, kidney and stomach were failing from the terrible infections that were ravaging her body. She wasn’t expected to live. I really prayed for a miracle. By morning the physicians announced that her organs were working again, but she was not out of the woods yet.
Mom’s birthday was November 9. She was going to be 87 years old. I wanted her to live. I kept praying for a miracle. God answered in a magnificent way. Mom and I spent the best birthday ever. It would be her last birthday, but I did not know it at the time.
By her birthday, she had completely recovered from septic shock. Mom lived until March 14, 2008.All the glory and honor go to God for the many miracles he did for Mom.
It has been a difficult year and 8 months without her. I miss her dearly. It is difficult to get through the grief that accompanies the loss of a loved one. It is a whole new life I have had to get accustomed to. I really long for the day we will be reunited. This story is dedicated to my Mother-Beatrice M. Bailey November 9,1920-March 14, 2008.
