Often we come across problems in life and we feel that we got trapped in a tricky situation at times. All the ways are sealed. No escape routes. But it is at such times that human potentials reach at its zenith of deliverance. And it is at adverse circumstances that we deliver the very best from us.
It is often true for millions of migrant workers who are away from their home countries leaving families and friends. The productivity of those migrants and the efficiency with which they deliver their duty is often amazing. It is true for all migrant population. Out of home, you are no longer lazy and mostly on your feet.
Entire Israel was trapped in a tricky situation. They were unmovable and trapped between Red Sea and Egyptians. Egyptian King and his ministry was upset that they set Israelites free. So they chased Israel people till the Red Sea.
There at that spot, Israel people encountered God. Moses hit on the Sea, that indeed represent of aspirations of an entire generation of people who suffered in Egypt as well as their forefathers beginning from Abraham who began his journey from Ur. Moses was directed by God to “ lift up your rod , and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it” when he cried aloud in his helplessness but in strong faith for deliverance from God. The Red Sea was divided.
It is often what is needed from us is lifting up our arms, marching ahead and cross the barricade. When we lift up our rods new paths would be ready for us. But often we are not ready to move closer to Red Sea.
We need to move ahead to Red Sea and God is waiting there to divide it for us to guide through. But we don’t move close to the Red Sea. We just stand apart turning our face. Not yet ready to face the situations, difficulties and problems.
