“And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the LORD and wept in anguish” (1 Sam. 1:10) NKJV
Do you think your case is so hopeless that God has no solution to it? Have you thrown in the towel just because you have been waiting for far too long? Is there any hope for your situation?
Weeping and being bitter would not solve your problem. Being in a sad mood will not solve the problem.
Follow Hannah's example and pray to God. She poured out her soul before the Lord and the God of Israel granted her petition. Of a truth, God always meets His people at the point of expectation more than at the point of need. Expectation, not desperation is the key. Remember, scripture said that the expectation of the righteous shall never be cut off. God listens when you pray. He really listens to our prayer.
Wow! What a great opportunity we have to chat with your Maker. We can talk to Him about all our secrets and share all our most private issues with Him. The most beautiful thing about our God is that He allows us to chat with Him on any issue that boggles our mind. The bottom line is that we may not get all the answers that we need, but we still need to trust Him for in His time, He makes all things beautiful. Talk about Job, a blameless and upright man before God. He never was able to find out the “whys” of it all. However, knowing and trusting in the very nature and attribute of God allowed him to say; ‘Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him’ (Job 13:15).
The truth is that, He already knows it but waiting for us to call on Him. When Hannah prayed, God listened; God will listen to your prayer. I believe that for every year, Hannah goes to Shiloh, she prays but then this kind of prayer was different. She prayed her heart out. Are you willing to go that extra mile in your prayer closet? Take your prayer phone and call on Him now. He is waiting to pick your call. Just text him your prayer message, He is waiting to receive your message. Get into a hearty chat with your heavenly Father. Let us abandon all our anxieties to God. Be anxious for nothing but in ALL things, by prayer, supplication and thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God.
