Do you say : “Good Morning Lord?”
Or say: “Good Lord…it’s morning.”
Either way get out of bed.
Enjoy each day’s new dawning!
It matters not what the day may hold,
When you know who holds the day.
Just know He’s planned His best for you,
So get started right away.
Put on a smile, grab a good attitude,
And cover it with love.
For whatever this day has in store,
It’s “a gift from God Above.”
God and you can handle anything
That comes your way.
Just vow you’ll let Him have it,
And you’ll not forget to pray.
And with His Word to comfort you,
You’ll trust Him and obey.
Yesterday is just a memory
And tomorrow’s not yet here.
But God and you can handle
All that comes your way. “That’s clear.”
Now I’ve assumed you know the Lord?
But if that is not true.
Well then place your faith in Him today
And be assured He will save you.
