Senses one and all, I can not but, be grateful
You created them all, every intricate detail
With planning and precision for the very purpose
To give a balance in us that only you could have co-coordinated
SIGHT is what you have made, with which to appreciate your creation
To navigate our way from here to there, avoiding every pitfall
SMELL is our sense of knowing what is in the air invisible to our eyes but our noses can identify them
This little member that picks out and distinguishes a sweet smelling fragrance from a nasty one and in addition can also make out the very presence of good and evil
TASTE is that budding member that differentiates for us sweet from sour
The many delicate tastes that exist in creation, savories, sweets, bitters and bland
HEARING all that you say to us and relating with one another and responding in the context of what we hear
Identification of sound in various categories
Distinguishing noise from music, joyous laughter from cries of sorrow and agony
TOUCH is feeling our way through: feeling the rough from the smooth, the coarse from the silky.
When the eyes sometimes deceive, to touch is our next option to make very sure when signals are sent to our very core defining what truly is
A touch goes a long way to extend and show friendship, encouragement and comfort.
All the senses combined is your genius artistic wonder as the network connects to form a functional being
Thanking you for these because I realize how much 'time' you spent at the drawing board before you put me together
Taking note of every little detail
THANKS I say as I use MY HANDS to type this, I appreciate all that you have done.
I can still use each one of these, I feel honored.
